Geo News live  TV Channel, Trademarked GEO TV, reached to the heart of public soon after its launch on August 14, 2002. Geo TV became very popular in a short span of time. The underlying success factor of Geo TV was not only enormous experience Geo Group in print media but also an unfulfilled public demand for a fair TV channel in Pakistan for a long period. There had been a one TV channel in the name of PTV that was totally biased and pro government TV channel. Through its pro government policies, PTV blocked all sort of feedback that government required to amend its ways.
