US doing a big favor to the Muslims?
I have always wonder about this, it would seem that Muslim countries would always get themselves into very tight situation like getting into wars and not able to extract themselves out of it and in the end it would require the intervention of the USA.
Muslim nations have demonstrated they have the capability to wage war and they have the military to get into wars but they are hardly visible in Afghanistan.
The USA have for the past decades been an asset to many Muslim nations in spite of what some anti USA are propagating.
1. The USA has been actively involved in helping Muslim nations to modernize and embrace moderation or secularism. Modernization is not only reserve for none Muslim countries.
2. The USA were active in helping the Afghanistan defeat the communist USSR
3. The USA was instrumental in preventing Israel from totally destroying the Egyptian and Syrian army during the 1967 war.
4.The USA was instrumental in keeping the Palestinian hope for an independent nation alive.
5. The USA was instrumental in ending the Balkan war and save thousands of Bosnian Muslims from ethnic cleansing.
6. The USA was instrumental in the creation of Independent Kosovo
7. The USA had not interfere during the Afghan civil war that saw the Taliban seize control of Afghanistan
8. The USA have allocated millions of aid money to Yemen, Sudan, Somalia, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Egypt, Palestinian authorities, have a good healthy relationship with Saudi Arabia and have open itÂ’s own borders to Muslim immigrants and religion to prosper in spite lack of equal reciprocation by Muslim countries to allow none Muslim to thrive and prosper in Muslim nations.
9. The USA in spite of numerous Islamic terrorist attacks that culminated with the 9/11 continue to remain a supportive ally to Muslim countries and have committed billions of $, materials and military to help them defend their countries against al Qaeda and other Islamic extremist.
10. The USA were sympathetic and in some or large degree instrumental that saw the Chechnya defeat Russia and achieve nationhood during the 1990s it was only after 9/11 of 2001 that the Chechnya cause lost support and coincidentally lead to their defeat and was re-emerge to the Russian Federation.
During the Afghan civil war Saudi Arabia and Pakistan was strong supporter of the Taliban while Iran and Russia were supporters of the Afghan Muslim Northern Alliance.
The present civil conflict in Yemen is showing the same indication a proxy war between Saudi and Iran. And once again the USA is getting drag into the conflict on the side of Saudi Arabia.
The USA have demonstrated their support for Muslim nations and have actively involve themselves to help one side or the other and yet when the USA is in need of their support in the present mission in Afghanistan we see very weak or no support at all.
The Mujahadeen that the USA help build, train and equip successfully defeated the USSR from Afghanistan and now that same Mujahadeen have turn their guns at the back of their mentor the USA.
What is it with these Muslims are they being ungreatful? It seem they only want to take and take but not give???
