I have been wanting to set people straight on something for a long time. A lot of conservatives claim to want to enforce morality through government while calling democrats and moderates immoral.

At the same time, a lot of people on the left, like myself, believe that many conservative, corporate and republican actions and positions are immoral.

The reality, which people need to understand, is that there are moral and immoral people on both sides. On the right you have some very nice people who don't want to take away peoples' rights or force religion on them, but many people who have no problem with impoverishing, killing or torturing people if it gains them power or money and using religion and morality as excuses to do it.

On the left there are people who are very selfish or anarchic who don't care what effect their actions have on others, but there are also many liberal people who are extremely moral and/or spiritual and who are genuinely devastated by all the terrible things they see done to people around the world in the name of profit and American supremacy.

People need to be honest and see the truth and try to be somewhere in the middle, away from both bad extremes.
