This is a question for Republicans. Obviously, I know your common sense answer to this question, but I ONLY want you to choose one of the two options below, simply to get your reaction as to which you find more important.

In 1994, the pubs beat the proposed Healthcare plans of the democrats, and it cost the Dems control of Congress. However, that also, in part, led to Bill Clinton being re-elected in 1996, as many moderates didn't want one side to control both Congress and the presidency.

So my question is, IF YOU HAD TO CHOOSE ONE OF THESE OPTIONS AND THESE OPTIONS ONLY, would you rather...

The Pubs take back Congress in 2010, and lose the presidential election to Obama in 2012,

or

The Pubs continue in the minority in Congress for the next 4 years, but win the presidency in 2012.

(please only select one of those two options, I already know that you'd ideally want to win both, but for the sake of discussion, I want to know what you think is more important).

Democrats could answer a similar question. If you thought you would lose either the control of Congress or the presidency, which would you be more willing to give up?
